Summertime at The Mansion at Valley Country Club

Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013

Thanks to my amazing intern Quinn I am finally catching up on my blog. Jessica and Ryan were such a sweet, fun and happy couple it was a pleasure to shoot their wedding, even the rain waited for them to be done and in the reception before making an appearance. They really made the day a reflection of them, from the charm on Jessica’s bouquet that belonged to her grandmother to the homemade jam they gave as favors, it was a celebration of family.

I loved how special Loyola Chapel was to them and how well it fit in with the romantic vintage style of their wedding.

The blue and yellow accents followed right through to their reception at The Mansion at Valley Country Club where it was a great night for cocktails on the porch and lots of dancing.

Spring Arrives for a Mt Vernon Engagement Session

Monday, April 16th, 2012

It is unusual, but I have nothing except thanks for our early March weather and the day of this session was no exception. Sunshine, a couple of clouds and perfect for ditching the coats. It was also perfect for wandering around Mt. Vernon with the love of your life (and if there happens to be a photographer stalking you just ignore her). K&A did a great job of that and we had fun sneaking in and out of some great spots in the neighborhood. Enjoy!

Winter Elegance at the Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore

Monday, April 9th, 2012

I love when couples get personal and creative and this wedding is an example of both. Inspired by her favorite Jo Malone fragrances and the sport that brought them together, Tina choose a sophisticated black and white palette and amazing design work of MLC Design Studio to make her tennis idea super chic. From invitations to the candy bar at the end of the night every detail worked together and complimented the beautiful and classic surroundings of The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore. Not to be held back by the chilly winter weather, white flowers were everywhere and Flowers and Fancies provided a pop of red for the bridal party with roses so amazing I almost thought they were fake. Enough gushing, check out the wonderfulness for yourself.

For Love of the Game

Monday, December 26th, 2011

2011 has been an amazing wedding season and I have had the pleasure to work with a lot of wonderful couples. I can’t think of a better way to end it than celebrating with Tina and Aaron at their romantic winter wedding this coming week at The Belvedere. This engagement session was inspired by their first meeting, when Tina decided to take a tennis lesson from the future love of her life. What else can you say, it was Love-Love.

E&P’s Engagement Session at Federal Hill

Monday, November 7th, 2011

I had a ton of beautiful images from E&P’s engagement session, the trees, the view, and the flowers were all cooperating the morning of our shoot and it was fun and easy to capture how happy these two are. With all those beautiful and dare I say picturesque options, it is truly a trusting couple who lets you stick them in a garage with cement walls and beer bottles on the floor. It was just want I was looking for to spice up our session and ended up being some of my favorite shots of the day. So a big thanks to E&P for their willingness to trespass on private property, I hope you are enjoying the images as much as I am.

L&M at Pazo

Thursday, August 18th, 2011

I just loved the style and design of this wedding, on its own it was beautiful and when coupled with a space like Pazo it created an elegant, warm and sophisticated foundation for the entire event. The lofty ceiling and huge windows let in lots of light and made all the different seating areas and cozy corners, decorated with flowers from Simply Beautiful Flowers, great places to eat some delicious food and yummy Graul’s cake. The bride and groom were so happy and I think the only thing that they were more excited about than the wedding was each other, so cute!

Summer Love at Antrim 1844

Saturday, August 6th, 2011

This bride and groom were a perfect fit for the vintage charm of Antrim mansion, every detail blended beautifully and the sultry summer day went great with drinks on the lawn and dancing all night. E&B radiated joy and you could tell they were over the moon for each other. The sweet secret notes that they shared to start the day were only the beginning of the celebration with their families and friends. I just love the love, congratulations!

Rain Drops and Love at Box Hill Mansion

Wednesday, October 13th, 2010

M&M may have had rain on their wedding day but it did not stop their beautiful outdoor ceremony or their obvious joy at getting married. The lovely Box Hill Mansion in York, PA was an amazing setting and this couple made it look even better. The black and white details they choose gave everything around them an air of elegance and timelessness.

Smiles and Sunshine in Annapolis

Friday, July 9th, 2010

MB & S were a pleasure to work with from day one and I think these images give a good example of why. They were all smiles from putting on the dress to cutting the cake and you could tell that it was an amazing day for both of them. Annapolis was the perfect location for this fun Navy couple and the colors and details highlighted all the things that were special to them.

High School Sweethearts at the Tremont

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

J&J have been together since high school and there is no denying why they knew it was the right from the start.  A few days before their 10th dating anniversary they tied the knot and began counting for the next several decades. Celebrating with lots of family and friends, the dance floor was packed all night long!
